Install Day: brick colonial

Nothing gives me more pleasure then seeing months and months of work and creativity come together! Earlier this week we had a large installation at a brick colonial home we have been renovating in here in California. What the "after" pictures don't tell you is how long it takes to get to this point. We began working with the architect just over a year ago, and construction started in March.

During the many months of architectural planning and construction, I'm also working on the interior design concept. Custom furniture, lighting, rugs and art take months to design and produce.

Install Day is a whirlwind. All the design elements we've spent months curating and producing come together in the polished, remodeled space.

The process of a remodel is an interior designer's dream.  We designers love nothing more than to have our way with a home. To rip down, re-concept and rebuild takes patience and imagination but it is immensely satisfying.
