Thank you Better Homes and Gardens!

Why hello, 2011!  So nice of you to arrive with a bang!

While in the grocery store the other day, I laid my eyes on the January issue of Better Homes and Gardens (I should mention that I had been stalking the newsstands like a crazy woman).  I seized it, opened it up,  and there, on the page staring back at me, was ME!  I desperately wanted to tap the woman in front of me and scream, “That’s me and that’s my home!”.   What a dream this is!   I cannot say “thank you” enough to Amy Panos of  Better Homes and Gardens, Andrea Caughey for producing the shoot, and King Au for shooting it.  This is something that I will treasure forever!

If you haven’t (yet) had a chance to check it out in person, here is the spread:

I just bought the issue – your place is gorgeous, and your talent is amazing. May I ask where you got a few of your items – namely the baskets on the top shelf & 3rd row from the bottom in your bookshelf, & the baskets above the blue binders next to the flowers? I’ve been looking forever for similar items. Thank you & congratulations – best wishes for continued success!

LOVED seeing your office in BH&G! It reminds me a bit of my own (that I am in the midst of revamping at bit) with the mix of modern, texture and industrial. Great work on creating a beautiful office in a small space not to mention storing all the (bleep) that come along with our job in an attractive manner! Cheers!

Just wanted you to know that 1. your article was the reason that I bought this issue of BTHG and 2. I have never left a comment on any of the oooooo so many blogs I have visited!!!! Your home is amazing. As much as I love home design, I equally love fashion, hence the following question: 1. Do you mind sharing the source of your bag and the polka dot rain boots?!?!?!? Thank you sooooooooo much in advance!!!!

I stumbled upon your blog today from House of Turquoise. I have been wandering through for over an hour and kept thinking your style resonated with something familiar. I just knew I had seen the clean, fresh, young, and modern grounded so seamlessly by timeless east coast esthetics somewhere before. This is where! I have this article torn out and filed as inspiration . This exact article kept me from dumping all of my old furniture when we just moved. This very articles images kept my new home from looking like I ran out and purchased all new furniture (because I didn’t.) Thank you. You saved me money, time, and more importantly have kept my house feeling like a home. The “old fashioned” china hutch I wanted so badly to toss now stores and displays much of my fabric in my office beautifully. Thank you. I am so excited to have found your blog.
