Well, it’s the week before Thanksgiving… are you just as crazed as I am?! I have been running around trying to get things wrapped up for my clients so that they can enjoy their homes for the holidays. I can always follow my weekly progress by the pictures I snap on my phone. Thought it would be fun to share where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing lately…
Checking in on the carved detail for the leg on my custom bench for my client’s entryway.
Choosing the grout color for my client’s master bath.
Creating a custom rug for my client’s living room.
Checking in on a set of custom bar stools.
Antiquing for a client install next week.
Sketching preliminary specs for a client’s fireplace.
Working through the concept for a beach house I am designing.

I sometimes forget that you are probably swamped with work before major holidays. Your clients always want things to be nice for the big day. I remember when I was working in the landscape business, my partner and I would take extra care with trying to fulfill all of the requests for added color to their gardens before the big event…while we had our own yards and homes to ready! But it is fun and exciting. Looks like some of your clients will have showstopper room to share this season.

The stairway idea for the beach house reminds me of the church where I got married 30 years ago on Martha’s Vineyard. I love the rope railing. Great details.
