This morning we have a large bunch of anenomes in our office.
I just love the stark contrast between the petals and the stigma. Doesn’t it play nicely off the pale grey silk ikat?

I love anemones! I really must plant some next year…every year I promise myself I’ll plant them and usually forget until I see beautiful images such as this one.

I love the deep purple anemones, somehow the snails seem to find them as they appear. Bulbs have such brilliant forms. I am always confusing them with ranunculi. This week our florist used thorn less blackberries and hedge berries in our arrangement and they looked brilliant. Once again it was the form.
So pretty Amy! It would be nice to do a room in those colors!
