Antiquing: Palm Springs
Ah Palm Springs, an oasis in the southern California desert .
Recently we made the trek northeast, over the mountains, to Palm Springs to source antiques for our Coronado project. And just as you would imagine, Palm Springs is wrought with amazing antique shops, chock-full of funky, mid-century modern pieces. But what caught us by surprise was, amid all the modern pieces, you can also find wonderful, elegant and eclectic art and accessories. I suppose in such a place, one shouldn't be surprised by anything, but it was really such a joy to see the diversity and quality of selection.
