Lilly Pulitzer's Home Collection For Garnet Hill

I realize that this may not resonate with my West Coast readers, but I had to release this information.  Lilly Pulitzer has launched a new home collection with Garnet Hill.  You may find it difficult to pull off Lilly's prints on a dress, skirt or bathing suit, but I promise your bed can work them!  How perfect would these linens be as a point of inspiration for a whimsical seaside bedroom.

This  Schumacher wallpaper, in lichen, is a perfect starting point!  The lines in the paper appear softer because they are actually small dots which add a subtle pattern to the walls.  This balances the boldness of the printed linens.

With so many fabulous layers of linens, you will need to anchor them with a harder piece in the room.  This wooden Swedish inspired headboard is perfect because its does not feel heavy due to its carved detail and soft whitewashed finish.

Create a seating area with two of these wing chairs.  You create a more welcoming room by grouping items together to create multiple areas. On either side of the bed install these large fan pendants as your bedside lighting.  Using a ceiling mounted light gives you more real estate on your bedside table that would otherwise be taken up by a lamp base.

This side table would be great for your night stand.  The straight lines are a nice masculine balance to the other more feminine lines in the room.  Imagine using the tray top for breakfast in bed!

To protect your surfaces, use these coasters for an extra pop of color.
