Riding the High: Greystone Showhouse
I want to thank each of you for being a part of my journey. Over the past several months I have shared my inspiration and progress for Luxe Magazine's Maison de Luxe show house at Greyson Mansion. And now, after all those months of prep, stress, and tears (yes tears), it is now live. And I cannot believe it. With the opening of the house there is a pit in my stomach, a constant caffeine like jittery-ness from coffee I apparently drank on an empty stomach. It is an overwhelming and surreal experience sharing my design in such a public forum. Up until the very night before the opening I had not really considered what I was actually doing nor how it would feel to open my chest and lay my heart on the table for all the world to see. The goal was to share a body of work, to take a risk, and to put myself out there. And I despite the unsettled stomach, I am brimming with pride.

So now, past the point of no return, I can honestly say that I am elated. To experience and at times participate in others viewing my work has been surprisingly fun and exciting. And I have been so honored and proud that people, many of whom I know and admire, have chosen to share my work, as well!
