Introducing the Design Forward Collective

Good morning! I wanted to share this bit of press about a wonderful group I’m lucky to be a part of, the Design Forward Collective. We’re all thrilled by the support Kravet has shown us. Thank you, Kravet!

As designers, we spend much of the day surrounded by people, but those people don’t often include other designers. Getting together with a group of peers has been so helpful in my career.  We bounce ideas off each other, share business practices, and regularly funnel referrals to each other.

 Recently we launched a collective blog. Every month we’ll all weigh in on the same topic. Check out our first post on Pantone’s color of the year; as you can see, no two answers are alike.

Some view collaboration as a threat, but in my experience that couldn’t be further from the truth. Joining forces only makes our community stronger.

Thanks again to Kravet for recognizing the value of teamwork in the design world. I can’t wait to see the Collective grow.
