Christmas at the Storefront
'Tis the season... and I can't even begin to put into words the way I am feeling right at this moment, though it's definitely something like jolly. I have dreamt of having a storefront since I was a little girl, perhaps even before (can we dream in the womb?). And the very highlight of that dream, the most magical part was when I would get to decorate that store for the coming holiday season. You see, I love Christmas. I love the joy and energy that it brings to our our everyday, and that this year I get to share with public. Be it the warmth of greenery, new flowers, the twinkling lights, we do something special and it calls to passers by, engages them and evokes warm memories and emotions. The feeling is infectious, and I live for it.
So to prepare, I new just the right person to call: Andrea Drexelius the French Basketeer. Her casual, yet elegant European approach was exactly what I wanted. Together, we created beautiful, fresh holiday decor that, built on the colors blue and white, with silver and gold accents, warms my heart to its core. I know that the world doesn't come to a halt for the holiday season, but I hope that each and everyone of you feel that little bit of extra energy, kindness, and joy... that touch of magic that elevates and brightens our days.
