Inspired By: Swan House

I never cease to be amazed by architecture of the past.  I think what really gets me is the impeccability of scale, proportion, and craftsmanship .  Last week I was in Georgia for a photo shoot, and during some down time was treated to a tour of Swan House in Buckhead, whose house and grounds were designed by noted architect Philip T. Shutze for the Inman Family.  The details are steeped in history yet feel so incredibly fresh.  I could go on for days about the stone inlay floor in the foyer or the exquisite pale rose chinoiserie in the dining room, but instead, I will let the images do the talking
