La Jolla Powder Room Reveal

So, I was thinking about the La Jolla home that we wrapped towards the end of last year (whole home gut-job), and it occurred to me that I never shared with you the first floor Powder Room.  It is such a fun and inviting space, perfect for family and guests alike. I wanted it to be comfortable, but also as interesting. So we played with bold patterns and subtle details, matte and shine, brass and silver, antique and custom.  

Speaking of custom, when designing bathrooms, I love to create custom vanities.  We begin with inspiration images and then draft in CAD, manipulating the image until it is just right in both form and function.  In this case, we played with a custom turned leg that has unique but clean lines.   We then used the homes interior door, raised-panel design as the apron. And let's not forget about the insane hardware:
