Better Homes & Gardens Magazine: many thanks!

Hope you all had a great weekend!  Ours was filled with excitement after learning that our home, featured in Better Homes & Gardens, had hit newsstands!   I can't thank the team at BHG enough for their loyal support of my work. We moved in just before having Maggie, and it was a definitely a project!  We tore up the wall to wall carpeting, repainted the mint chip walls and ceiling, and added all new light fixtures before decorating the place from top to bottom.  We drew the design concept  from an antique nautical chart of Martha's Vineyard, which combines the wonderfully natural taupe patina of the paper, with soft greens and periwinkle blues.  Our home is chock-full of family heirlooms, quirky antiques that we have collected together, commissioned art, and custom furnishings that were built to be both cozy and bullet proof to withstand toddlers and golden retrievers, alike.

I also wanted to share one of my favorite nooks that they did not include in the magazine.   I just think its a fun transitional space, and you can see how the dinning room and living room relate to each other.
